Key Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent
Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies
Refer to Center Physician for unacceptable findings or guidance
Support vaccination programs for employees
Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Currently licensed or certified in the state as EMT-Paramedic
Current CPR and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
Satisfactorily complete FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
