Job Description

As a Production Sous Chef at LSG Sky Chefs, you'll lead the preparation of high-quality airline meals, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You'll oversee kitchen operations, mentor staff, and contribute to menu development in a dynamic and recognized culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise food production activities and kitchen helpers
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, health, and safety standards
  • Conduct quality control checks according to HACCP regulations
  • Guide and develop subordinate employees
  • Participate in the development of food products and menus
  • Monitor material consumption and manage inventory

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial cooking
  • Apprenticeship or Certification from culinary school
  • Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Service orientation
  • Leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
