Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

• Location: Winchester, Massachusetts (01890) – Greater Boston area
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Stepdown Unit (A1 Cardiac Tele PCU)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac stepdown or acute care nursing experience
• Ability to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to cardiac stepdown patients, monitoring cardiac status and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications, manage cardiac drips, and perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care and interventions in EPIC EMR
• Float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as required to support clinical operations
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families in the cardiac stepdown unit
