A facility in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Home Health Renal Educator. The RN will travel to patient homes as needed to provide education, training, and support to renal patients, ensuring quality care and adherence to prescribed therapies.
ResponsibilitiesEducate patients and caregivers on renal therapies, including peritoneal dialysis
Provide hands-on training and support during home visits
Monitor patient progress, adherence, and treatment outcomes
Document patient care and education accurately and timely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
Respond to urgent patient needs while on call
Minimum 3 years current RN experience required
Must be willing and able to travel to patient homes
Baxter AMIA Peritoneal Cycler experience strongly preferred
Current BLS (AHA) certification required
