Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Perform Q1 neuro checks
Manage EVDs, lumbar drains, and sub-dural drains
Administer 3% NS and cardene drips
Handle arterial lines and carotid endarterectomy
Support aneurysm coil/clips and DBS Insertion
Monitor and respond to seizures

Required Qualifications

Stepdown/PCU experience
BLS certification
RN License (NY License ONLY)
Two (2) years of experience
High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience
Telemetry experience
