Job Description

Join Medical Group Alaska as an Audiologist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to service members. Your expertise in audiology will help ensure accurate assessments and improve the quality of life for those who have served our country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment
  • Evaluate test results and medical records to determine the cause of hearing loss
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations and calibration checks of audiometric equipment
  • Lead training for paraprofessional staff
  • Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
  • Travel up to 50% to provide audiology examinations in multiple locations

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D)
  • 5+ years of clinic practice experience
  • Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Compensation and Pension Examination
  • Experience with hearing conservation programs
  • Ability to earn and maintain training/certifications
