Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Mechanical Plant Engineer and be part of a team that innovates manufacturing processes and equipment. You will solve technical challenges, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and contribute to the growth of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects
Take responsibility for mechanical aspects of projects
Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation
Design solutions compliant with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Specify and solicit equipment quotations
Deliver technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good judgment, self-motivation, and commitment to safety
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
Flexibility to handle diverse assignments and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to perform hands-on work and collaborate on the shop floor
Technically proficient in CAD modeling (preferred: Solid Edge; AutoCAD)
Willingness to occasionally work off shifts and travel
