Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Danvers, Massachusetts
• Healthcare Setting: PACU – Day Surgery (no overnight surgery)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, closed Fridays
• Hours: 35 hours per week (alternating 3x9hr shifts and 3x9hr + 1x8hr shifts)
• Shift Start Times: 6:15am, 7:00am, or 8:00am (varies)
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2390–$2560
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Orientation: Biweekly start dates (12/15, 12/29, etc.)

PACU RN Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or acute care Registered Nurse experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• IV Certification required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC equivalency) certifications (all AHA)
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months and in good standing
• Ability to admit pre-op patients and recover post-op patients in a clinical setting
• No local candidates considered (travel nursing applicants only)

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Admit and prepare patients for day surgery procedures in the PACU
• Monitor and recover post-operative patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient vital signs
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and electronic documentation
• Provide compassionate care, patient education, and clinical support
