Job Description
Join Zen Educate as an Education Assistant to make a meaningful impact on K-12 special education students. This role allows you to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students with academic and behavioral needs in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students' self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement and outcomes
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience working with children with special needs
