Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients and establishes individualized treatment goals based on their symptoms and medical status.
Implements appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve speech and language functionality.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities.
Documents patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for community education and clinical education of students.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites
