Job Description

Join New Directions Mental Health as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing mental health care. You'll provide personalized therapy, develop crisis plans, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support clients' journeys to healing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms
Engage in collaborative care with multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Independent license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) per state regulation
Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health
Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively
