Job Description

Join USAA as a Senior Manager of Fraud Analytics, where you'll shape the company's fraud strategy and lead a dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies for fraud initiatives
  • Lead a team executing the fraud strategic plan
  • Monitor and adjust strategic plan based on environmental changes
  • Communicate and implement business strategy
  • Anticipate and recognize fraud trends
  • Oversee a team for recruiting, development, and performance management
  • Identify and control risks associated with business activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience
  • 8 years of experience in financial crimes
  • 3 years of direct team lead or management experience
  • Expert experience developing and implementing policies for fraud initiatives
  • Comprehensive understanding of business requirements and technology solutions
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and SQL, SAS, BI tools
  • Extensive knowledge of bank laws and regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • US military experience or a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Over 5 years of experience designing and implementing fraud rules
  • Experience performing rules analysis and identifying outlier trends
