Key Responsibilities
Administers speech and language evaluations, tests or examinations
Develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses
Provides speech and language services and monitors disease progression
Instructs clients in practicing therapeutic exercises
Ensures compliance with speech and language standards, policies, and protocols
Participates in departmental activities and promotes the department
May supervise assistants, aides, and students
Required Qualifications
Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by ASHA
Currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Valid driver's license
