Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information
Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues
Process prescriptions from intake to order completion
Resolve customer issues ensuring accurate information is provided
Meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
Fulfillment of prescription orders
Document interventions and track outcomes with Pharmacy team
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada
Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications
Ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Willing to participate in the on-call rotation
Preferred Qualifications
National certification as a Pharmacy Technician
2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
6+ months of experience with insurance claims processing
Experience with various insurances, pre-approval & authorizations
Sterile compounding experience
