Travel RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

• End Date: January 27, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100 - $2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a U.S. hospital
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to float to related nursing units as needed
• Availability to work every third weekend and 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Strong clinical skills in triage, high-risk deliveries, c-section recovery, and obstetric patient care
• Professional references required

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including triage, fetal monitoring, and patient support
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide post-operative care for c-section patients
• Perform sterile vaginal exams, medication administration, and central line maintenance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for mothers, newborns, and families
• Comply with hospital policies for scheduling, attendance, and regulatory compliance
• Float to other nursing units within scope of practice as required
