• Unit Size: 19 beds, 36 staff members
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact state
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Fetal Monitor Certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong labor and delivery experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

L&D RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and antenatal patients, including fetal monitor interpretation and vaginal exams
• Administer OB medications and assist with C-sections (circulating and post-recovery)
• Provide post-partum care and outpatient fetal monitor testing
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR and OBIX EFM systems
• Uphold hospital policies and foster a positive, family-centered environment
