Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Full Time

$17.00/Hour

Job Summary:
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for ensuring brand standards are maintained in each unit and assisting in daily housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform daily opening & closing of office paperwork as needed. (Includes using Excel and other hospitality software)
  • Responsible of key control for contract cleaning companies.
  • Inventory and order weekly supplies as needed. Supervise Housekeeping Inventory area.
  • Check the quality and productivity of Housekeeping Inspectors working during your shift.
  • Work closely with outside cleaning companies and update room status throughout the day
  • Perform and follow up on any housekeeping calls received
  • Use Asgard system to communicate inventory needs in unit
  • Use Asgard system to communicate maintenance issues as needed
  • Make weekly forecasts for contract cleaning companies.
  • Assist in managing housekeeping lost & found procedures.
  • Assist in making housekeeping employee's schedules.
  • Cover Executive Housekeeper duties on their days off
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:
High school Diploma or equivalent
Previous housekeeping experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends and holidays.

Required Competencies:
Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Must have a neat appearance and be well-groomed.

Physical Demands:
Ability to communicate effectively.
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Constant standing with some walking.
Be able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50lbs.
