**Location:** Downey, CA

**Job Description:**

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a correctional health setting to provide vital care in a secure environment. Ideal candidates have psychiatric inpatient and correctional health experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Administer medications and perform blood draws.
• Work every other weekend.
• Ensure patient care complies with CA State Law.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

**Requirements:**

• Active CA RN License.
• BLS, Fire Card, and MAB/CPI certifications.
• Two years of psychiatric inpatient experience.
• Experience in secured environments preferred.
• COVID vaccination and booster required.

**Contract Details:**

• 13•week contract, 40 hours/week.
• Day shift: 0600•1430.
• Up to 3 days RTO.
• No on•call duties.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Correctional health or psychiatric experience.
• Travel experience is a plus.

**Additional Information:**

• Scrub Color: Any, Navy Blue or Black preferred.
