WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse a for a 13-week, 26-week and long-term temp contract assignments at a Prestigious Hospital in Bristol, CT. Travelers can earn up to $2,480 per week for this role.

Job Function:

• Categorize patients accurately based on clinical assessment.

• Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart rate and uterine activity.

• Implement appropriate interventions during labor based on fetal and maternal status.

• Assist physicians or midwives during deliveries.

• Administer medications following safety protocols and provider orders.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current State Registered Nurse license (or willingness to obtain).

• 1–2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association. ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

• NRP certification from the American Heart Association. Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
