Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift
Determines staffing levels and assignments based on various factors
Provides direct patient care as needed
Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care
Manages complaints about patient care
Performs role-specific duties including entering orders and coordinating transfers
Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in nursing
Current RN license in the state of Kentucky
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
1+ years of ER experience
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
PALS certification within 6 months of hire
Certification in area of specialty
