Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Sunday, Sunday, and Monday schedule

• On-call responsibilities once per month

• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of mentor/preceptor

• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patient populations

• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures

• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures

• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure all elements are completed and documented per department protocols

• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical data/findings

• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and user maintenance per manufacturer instructions

• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular specialty program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program

• Must meet eligibility requirements for CT Certification (ARRT) within 12 months of hire date

• AHA BLS certification required

• Ability to work as part of team, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations

• Must demonstrate attention to detail and work with minimum supervision

• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular/radiologic technologies required
