Job Description

Join Whole Foods Market as a Team Lead in Kitchen Equipment Maintenance and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our food production facility. Lead a dedicated maintenance team, implement preventive strategies, and foster an environment of teamwork and respect while making a meaningful impact on our community and the planet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Collaborate on Team Member relations and performance management

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • 12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (CMRP, CPMM)
  • OSHA safety certification
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes
