Job Description
Join Torchy's Tacos as a Kitchen Manager, where you'll lead Back of House operations, manage food costs, and develop a passionate team. Your management experience and dedication to quality will help us serve the best damn tacos around.
Key Responsibilities
Managing food costs, placing orders, updating pricing, and completing inventories
Selecting, interviewing, and hiring all BOH Team Members
Creating the BOH Team Member schedules to support sales projections
Verifying BOH Team Members follow all recipes and portion servings correctly
Developing action plans based on mystery shop results
Motivating and leading Team Members according to Torchys Values
Supporting the daily operation of the store
Partnering with the Learning & Development team for proper training
Required Qualifications
3+ years of kitchen management experience
State alcohol-server certification
Manager ServSafe certification
High-level understanding of training and development concepts
Ability to foster teamwork
Leadership skills
Oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
