Join Travelers as a Senior Risk Control Consultant, where you will partner with Underwriters to assess risks for some of the largest and most complex accounts. You'll leverage your expertise to advise on risk management strategies and improve client outcomes, all within a collaborative culture that values innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Underwriters with account knowledge related to hazards, controls, and management
Evaluate how a company identifies and manages risk factors
Build and maintain relationships with Underwriting, Claim, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers
Complete risk assessment evaluations for high complexity businesses
Write detailed reports communicating risk assessments and recommendations
Identify uncontrolled exposures for customer improvement
Stay current with technical subject matters and regulatory environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or graduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, basic sciences
Seven years of experience in safety, risk control/management, or related field
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced level knowledge of insurance industry
Recognized relevant certifications (such as ASP, CSP, ARM, CFPS)
