The EMS Program Manager will oversee the Paramedic Education Programs, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards while providing leadership and instructional coordination. This role is pivotal for developing future EMS professionals through effective program administration and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversees faculty, adjunct instructors, and staff across classroom, lab, clinical, and field settings
Provides overall administration, organization, and supervision of the Program
Develops course schedules and ensures alignment with accreditation standards
Coordinates all courses and skills, maintaining relationships with EMS agencies
Reviews and updates course materials to meet national EMS education standards
Participates in budgeting and monitors program costs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or obtained within 90 days
Minimum 5 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Emergency Nurse
Supervisory experience required
EMS education program coordination required
Documented teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred
Experience with formal performance improvement processes preferred
NREMT certification preferred
