Key Responsibilities
Review patients' medical history and observe them doing tasks
Evaluate a patient's condition and needs
Develop a treatment plan for patients
Help patients with disabilities perform tasks
Evaluate a patient's home or workplace for improvements
Educate family and employers on patient care
Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on usage
Document patient activities and progress
Required Qualifications
NBCOT (OTR) certification
BLS certification
1 year of experience (or 6 months for exceptional candidates)
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications may be required
