Job Description
Join UCHealth as a Registered Nurse specializing in PICC/Vascular Access, where you'll provide essential vascular access services to optimize patient care. Key Responsibilities
Provides vascular access services to UCHealth patients
Assesses patients for appropriate vascular access device(s)
Places peripherally inserted central catheters, midlines, ultrasound guided IVs
Troubleshoots complications with vascular access devices
Documents vascular access information and actions in electronic health record
Evaluates learning needs of staff, patients, and/or family
Delegates patient care to ancillary personnel
May precept student nurses, new hires, or providers
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
6 months of nursing (RN) experience
BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of PICC/vascular access registered nurse experience
