Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric critical care experience, the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to adapt to patient and unit needs.

Shift & Schedule:

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to ensure positive outcomes
• Provide family education and support throughout the treatment process
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols and standards of care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience (required)
• Active state RN license (required)
• Current certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
