Key Responsibilities
Acquire knowledge of patient's medical history and analyze emergency conditions
Perform cardiac imaging and assist in stress exercise examinations
Calculate, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceutical dosages
Perform quality control measures on nuclear medicine equipment
Document all operations of the laboratory
Identify ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction
Provide clinical instructions for Radiology students and residents
Stay updated on developments in the nuclear medicine field
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a JCERT accredited school or program
Graduate of an accredited college program in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Science, or other allied health care field
Current ARRT (N) Certification or current CNMT certification
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of State Health Services or Texas Medical Board
Current Healthcare Provider BLS CPR course completion card
