Job Description

As a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA), you'll extend the capabilities of a BCBA by implementing treatment plans and supervising Behavior Technicians. This role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and professional development to provide high-quality care for clients with autism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor therapeutic treatment plans
  • Consult with BCBA to implement behavior observation systems and support plans
  • Coordinate data collection and analysis related to program goals
  • Develop and maintain progress notes and update treatment plans
  • Supervise and train Behavior Technicians
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers
  • Participate in clinic meetings and collaborate with school staff as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst Certificate
  • 135 classroom hours of instruction in Behavior Analysis topics
  • 1000 hours of supervised ABA therapy
  • Experience working with children and adolescents utilizing ABA therapies
  • Solid understanding of autism and behavioral principles
  • Experience with functional behavior assessments and writing behavior support plans
