As a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA), you'll extend the capabilities of a BCBA by implementing treatment plans and supervising Behavior Technicians. This role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and professional development to provide high-quality care for clients with autism.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor therapeutic treatment plans
Consult with BCBA to implement behavior observation systems and support plans
Coordinate data collection and analysis related to program goals
Develop and maintain progress notes and update treatment plans
Supervise and train Behavior Technicians
Communicate with parents and caregivers
Participate in clinic meetings and collaborate with school staff as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst Certificate
135 classroom hours of instruction in Behavior Analysis topics
1000 hours of supervised ABA therapy
Experience working with children and adolescents utilizing ABA therapies
Solid understanding of autism and behavioral principles
Experience with functional behavior assessments and writing behavior support plans
