Job Title: LPN Corrections (Local)
Location: Elmore, AL
Regular Pay: $40/hr
Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM & 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Type:  Contract (13 Weeks with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary:  We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a correctional facility. The LPN will be responsible for providing routine and emergency nursing care to inmates, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and assisting the RN/physician as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor and document patient conditions
• Provide wound care and basic nursing procedures
• Respond to medical emergencies within the facility
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with facility policies

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as LPN.
• Minimum 6 months - 2years of LPN experience (corrections experience preferred but not required)
• Active BLS certified by AHA.
• COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption.
• Strong communication and assessment skills
