Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver and enjoy home daily schedules with competitive pay and excellent benefits. You will be responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of cargo, operating a forklift, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform tasks including check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and cargo pickup/delivery
Exercise independent judgment regarding trailer assembly and weight distribution
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
