The practice currently consists of two full-time OB/GYNs, one part-time OB/GYN, and three CRNPs. Athens is located between North Alabama and the Tennessee State line, offering an excellent quality of life with a rich history and growing economy.Practice Details:Location: Athens, Alabama, conveniently situated 90 miles south of Nashville, 90 miles north of Birmingham, and 20 minutes from Huntsville.Patient Mix: Excellent payer mix, with the majority of patients covered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama.Hospital: Work out of one hospital, potentially growing to 101 beds.Call: Shared call schedule.EMR: Modern electronic medical record system.Salary and Benefits Package:Employment Contract: Three-year employment contract with a competitive salary based on the Southern Median percentile.Incentives: Year-end incentive bonus for meeting quality and patient satisfaction goals, and a quarterly incentive bonus based on WRVU model for outpatient visits and inpatient admissions.Sign-on Bonus: $30,000 sign-on bonus, payable monthly during the last year of residency.Moving Expenses: Up to $10,000 based on actual receipts.CME: $3,000 annually for CME, books, professional memberships, and dues, plus one week off for CME.Malpractice Insurance: Full malpractice coverage, including tail coverage after the contract period.401k: 50% match on the first 5% of employee contribution after 1 year of employment.Paid Time Off: 25 days of earned time off (ETO) annually at the start of the contract.About the Area:Athens: A charming city with a population of approximately 26,000, located in Limestone County, the fastest-growing county in Alabama.
