Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
Location: Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay, WI
Position Overview
Aurora BayCare Medical Center is seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) to join the Operating Room team. This role involves providing perioperative support across a wide range of surgical specialties, ensuring safe and efficient patient care in collaboration with the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures
- Scrub and assist surgeons across multiple specialties, including Robotics, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, Plastics, Urology, and General Surgery
- Handle instrumentation, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently
- Support ancillary tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and assisting with sterile processing as needed
- Collaborate with circulating RNs, anesthesia providers, and other OR staff to ensure quality care
Schedule & Work Details
- Shift: 8-hour Evening Shift (10:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Weekends: None
- On-Call: None
- Holidays: May work holidays as scheduled
- Floating: Between the Main OR and East Side (same building); rare float to West Side Surgery Center
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience (Neuro and Robotics required; first-time travelers considered upon review)
- Certification: CST and BLS required
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Robotics (DaVinci XI)
- Experience in: General, GYN, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Orthopedics (hand, podiatry, scopes, total joints), Neuro spine
- Ability to assist with sterile processing and positioning patients

Orientation & Training
- 2 full orientation shifts provided on the unit
- Support from charge nurses (Mon–Fri), surgical leads, and supervisors
Note: No more than 4 days of RTO will be approved during the contract.
