Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician directives and patient goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions focused on mobility, coordination, self-care, and cognitive function.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and assistive equipment.
Document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment while upholding infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri (or compact license).
Minimum of 1 year of recent occupational therapy experience in a clinical or rehab setting.
Current certification in Basic Life Support.
COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
