Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Department (Float Pool)

Job Overview

This is a float pool position with assignments every 4 hours. Nurses may be pulled to the Emergency Department or ED Observation Unit . The facility is a Level III Trauma Center .

Experience & Qualifications

• Required Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant Emergency Department experience
• Licensure:
  • Active Michigan RN license required at submission
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
• Preferred Certifications:
  • TNCC, ENPC or PALS, CPI

Patient Ratios & Responsibilities

• Typical Patient Ratio: Up to 1:6
• Float Requirement: Yes – within ED and ED Observation
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
