Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review medical records Interview patients to obtain or update medical history and assess risk factors Explain procedures and side effects to patients Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and document exceptions from protocols Recognize and respond to medical emergencies Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions Participate in process improvement activities Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Take call/standby as required Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R) AHA Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training Up to $15,000 sign on bonus
