Join St. Elizabeth Healthcare as a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist, where you'll provide specialized care in the Maternal Fetal Center. You'll be responsible for conducting ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations per defined protocol
Assist patients throughout the examination, ensuring comfort
Obtain and record patient data as required
Comply with safety standards and procedures
Assist physicians with invasive procedures
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
Promote good working relationships with medical staff
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree or ultrasound certification from an AMA approved school of Radiologic or Ultrasound Technology
Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB/GYN
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, ultrasound physics, and ultrasound equipment
Clinical experience from an approved program
Preferred Qualifications
Nuchal Translucency Certification (required within two years of hire)
Nasal Bone Certification (required within two years of hire)
Specialty certification in one other area of OB imaging
