Key Responsibilities
Provide speech language pathology diagnostic and treatment services
Ensure individual assessment and participation with goal identification and treatment planning
Complete timely documentation of treatment notes and progress reports
Monitor individuals’ progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team and participate in goal development
Provide education and monitoring to staff and families
Attend and present at team meetings and participate in program development
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active licensure in Michigan
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Ability to work with consumers having special needs due to neurological disabilities/TBI
Ability to design, implement, update and document consumer treatment programs
