Job Description
Join Mercy as a Patient Care Associate in Orthopedics, where you'll deliver personalized care to help patients achieve their highest wellness. This full-time role includes vital sign monitoring, assisting with daily activities, and providing clerical support, all within a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain vital signs and document into the electronic medical records system
Assist with patient care needs including meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, and transport
Perform clerical support duties as needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D.
CNA/CPTC or enrolled in a healthcare career program
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
