Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will work within a dynamic team to provide high-quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, administering sedation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation.
- Provide post-procedural care and patient education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care or cardiac setting is preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred).
