Job Description

As an Active Social Worker in the U.S. Army, you will enhance unit readiness and well-being by providing crucial mental health services to Soldiers and their families. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services to improve the mental well-being of Soldiers and their families
  • Teach, train, supervise, and conduct research
  • Engage in crisis intervention and policy development
  • Attend trainings and seminars for continued education

Required Qualifications

  • Master of Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Independent license for practicing Social Work in the U.S.
  • Age between 18 and 34 years
  • U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
