Join MassMutual as the Director of Finance Technology and lead a skilled team in executing technology strategies that drive impactful outcomes across the organization. You'll work closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to manage large-scale initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with Finance teams
  • Build and develop a team to execute on the roadmap
  • Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of finance systems
  • Oversee system integrations between actuarial models and data warehouses
  • Drive automation of reporting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure secure and efficient actuarial and financial data flows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal controls for finance systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in finance or actuarial technology leadership roles
  • 1+ year of experience in understanding actuarial and FP&A processes, tools, and data needs
  • 1+ year of experience managing large-scale system implementations or transformations
  • 1+ year of experience building and developing new teams
  • 1+ year of experience understanding data architecture, APIs, ETL, and financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Professional credentials such as FSA, ASA, CFA, CPA, or PMP
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Understanding of integration technologies and APIs
  • Awareness of cybersecurity threats and best practices
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in finance such as AI/ML, blockchain, RPA
  • Skills in evaluating and managing technology vendors
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to influence and motivate teams without direct authority
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
