Key Responsibilities
Teach a curriculum prioritizing analysis of World, US History, American Government, and Economics
Facilitate student-led discourse and peer debate
Guide students in understanding authors' claims and developing argumentation skills
Build an inclusive environment for students to express evidence-based opinions
Meet weekly with principal/instructional coach to analyze student work trends
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities
Academic expertise in Education, History, Geography, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or the Humanities
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience preferred
