Key Responsibilities
Direct inpatient and outpatient clinical care, including pre-transplant candidate evaluations and post-transplant care
Assure hospital compliance with OPTN/UNOS, CMS, DOH and other regulatory agency requirements
Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement
Conduct community and physician outreach
Required Qualifications
Board certified or eligible in nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Completion of an AST accredited transplant nephrology fellowship or equivalent training in transplant nephrology
Qualify as Primary Transplant Physician under UNOS Bylaws
Qualify for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Indiana
