Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you'll lead and supervise delivery staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient service. This role involves managing schedules, overseeing operations, and fostering a positive work environment to enhance team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
Manage labor hours and consumable supplies
Prepare work schedules
Oversee utilization of company assets
Review delivery functions and productivity reporting
Communicate with Sales Management and Marketing Associates
Conduct regular meetings with associates
Coordinate with the Safety department
Make recommendations for disciplinary action
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience
Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program
Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
