Job Description

Join UnitedHealthcare as an LPN Auditor to enhance the quality of care in your community. This role involves auditing medical records and collaborating with providers to implement quality improvement plans, all while working remotely with travel flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and audit medical records from providers
  • Analyze, track, and report results
  • Review and audit Medicaid EVV providers and medical records
  • Evaluate documentation of medical records
  • Identify incomplete/inconsistent information in medical records
  • Maintain HIPAA requirements
  • Discuss issues with provider offices and request corrective action plans
  • Educate providers on compliance and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in Arizona
  • 3+ years of experience in the Medicaid health field
  • 2+ years of experience reviewing medical record charts/documentation
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Reliable transportation for field visits
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% in Arizona
  • Reside in Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Managed Care
  • Field-based work experience
  • Experience creating quality improvement plans
  • Experience helping providers comply with health plan standards
  • Knowledge of EVV and HCBS
  • Knowledge of Medicaid benefit products
  • Proven organizational skills
