Key Responsibilities
Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
Adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging
Determine exposure factors based on patient specifics
Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings
Assist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations
Process images for quality control and identification
Perform routine maintenance on radiologic equipment
Train new hires and students
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years continuous experience as a Radiologic Technologist
