Join Zen Educate as a Special Education Teacher Assistant and make a meaningful impact in the lives of K–12 students with special needs. Work closely with licensed teachers to support students academically, socially, and emotionally, while receiving ongoing support and guidance from our team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
