Shift: 12 hours, Day shift from 0700 to 1930.

On-call required once every 3rd to 4th weekend and 1 night per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with surgical services experience to join our Operating Room team. The RN will play a crucial role in providing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures (excluding cardiac, transplants, neuro, and gastric bypass). You will be responsible for circulating in the operating room, with scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care for patients in the OR.
• Circulate during surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile environment.
• Assist with patient transports and IV starts as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
• 2 years of experience in the specialty of surgical services.
• Current New York State RN license or proof of application.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable.
